Audio-Reader accepting donations of records, CDs, equipment for annual sale

More Information

LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas Audio-Reader Network, a reading and information service for the blind and print-disabled, is accepting donations of gently used vinyl records, CDs, audio equipment, musical instruments and DVDs for For Your Ears Only, their annual sale of all things audio.

Anyone with records and CDs they no longer listen to, or beloved but unused audio equipment cluttering their home, can bring donations to Audio-Reader, 1120 W. 11th St. Drop sites are also available in Kansas City and Topeka. To see addresses, click here. This year's sale will be Sept. 14-15 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Lawrence.

Proceeds from the sale will help provide reading and information services to Audio-Reader's listeners, who depend on the organization to provide them with daily readings of newspapers, books, magazines and much more.
For more information about donating items to For Your Ears Only, contact Feloniz Lovato-Winston at (785) 864-5336 or fwinston@ku.edu.
