Second candidate for dean of engineering to participate in public forum
LAWRENCE — A candidate for dean of the School of Engineering will visit the University of Kansas on Monday and participate in an open forum.
Amr Elnashai, professor and head of the department of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will meet with faculty, staff and students in a public forum at 3:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, in the KU Visitor's Center Auditorium.
Names of the other candidates will be released approximately 48 hours before they arrive on campus. After names are announced, information on candidates will be available on the provost's website.
