Campus community asked to complete survey on innovation, economic development

LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas is applying for designation as an Innovation & Economic Prosperity University through the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities. This prestigious national designation is awarded only to universities that have demonstrated excellence in innovation and economic development initiatives. As part of the application, the university is conducting a survey of KU faculty, staff, students and external partners. Participation in this survey is crucial to KU’s designation efforts.

Employees and students are asked to help by sharing their candid opinions about KU’s innovation and economic development activities through this confidential online survey. The survey will only take about five minutes to complete. The deadline for completion is Jan 31.

The survey is available here.

In addition to helping KU apply for designation, survey results will be used by KU Innovation & Collaboration to develop a strategic plan for the university’s entrepreneurship and economic development efforts and to better serve faculty, staff and students.

For questions about the designation or the survey, contact Julie Nagel, interim president of KUIC and interim associate vice chancellor for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, at jrnagel@ku.edu.
