University community mourns death of student Haley Drown
LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas community is saddened by the death of Haley Drown, who just completed her freshman year. Drown died May 31 in Kansas City, Missouri.
"On behalf of the entire University of Kansas community, I offer our most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Haley Drown,” said Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little. “Our hearts go out to them as they mourn the loss of this young, promising life.”
Drown, a business major from Leawood, lived in Corbin Hall and was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
