Red Hot Research will includes topics such as climate, data visualization


LAWRENCE — The fourth year of Red Hot Research presentations will kick off at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at The Commons. In the last three years, 117 University of Kansas researchers have introduced their current work as part of the series. In keeping with the purpose of the event, presenters are asked to consider how other disciplinary perspectives could contribute to their research; the likely next steps for the research; and challenges that they face in conducting the research. In turn, audience members are asked to, from their own perspectives, offer insights, questions and ideas.

Red Hot Research is slated for the following dates at The Commons this fall:
