Chancellor to host university updates

UPDATE: This story has been updated to reflect a new start time for the Lawrence event. The event will begin at 3 p.m. on Feb. 9.

LAWRENCE — Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little will host two events to update the University of Kansas community about KU’s accomplishments and opportunities over the past year and take questions from students, faculty and staff.

“Last March was the first time we did university updates like this, and they were very well-received,” Gray-Little said. “I welcome the opportunity to again provide updates on a number of issues facing the KU community, including campus construction projects, new leadership transitions and enrollment trends.”

One event is set in Lawrence, and the other will take place at KU Medical Center in Kansas City.

  • Lawrence — 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at The Commons in Spooner Hall.
  • Medical Center — 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, in the School of Nursing Auditorium.

The events will be open and informal, without podiums, speeches or slides. The Chancellor will provide a brief university update and then open the floor for questions.
