Staff leaders from 2016 presidential campaigns will take part in Dole elections conference

LAWRENCE — A prominent group of political strategists, journalists and pollsters will explore the 2016 election results at the Dole Institute of Politics’ nationally recognized Post-Election Conference.

The event is set for Thursday, Dec. 8, and Friday, Dec. 9. It will consist of four sessions, with two focusing on the general election and one each on the Democratic and Republican nomination races. The Democratic session will be 2:30-4 p.m. Dec. 8, the Republican session from 4:30-6 p.m. Dec. 8 and the general election sessions 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. Dec. 9.

All sessions are free and open to the public and will be live-streamed at DoleInstitute.org.

“The national post-election program is the most in-depth and informational program we do,” said Dole Institute Director Bill Lacy. “The interaction among the panelists leads to tremendous insight and entertainment and will be especially fascinating given the nature of this election.”
