University mourns deaths of two students
Chancellor Douglas A. Girod shared the following statement regarding the deaths of two KU students this week.
"I am profoundly saddened to learn of the deaths of two of our students in recent days — Mahmoud Samak and Dylan Garnett. On behalf of the entire KU community, I offer my deepest condolences to their family and friends as they mourn their heartbreaking loss. We wish them comfort during this difficult time.”
