Idea Cafe: Where (and When) Will Books Die?

Emilio Chapela Perez
Emilio Chapela Prez will present some of the ideas that motivate his artistic work regarding books. Particularly, he will raise questions regarding the future of books and libraries. Are libraries obsolete? Will they evolve? Will books -as objects- survive mass digitalization? Should they? And most importantly: When and how will books die? Lunch is provided; seating is limited. RSVP by January 15 to thecommons@ku.edu.
