KU welcomes new tenured, tenure-track faculty to campus

LAWRENCE — Fifty new tenured and tenure-track faculty members joined the University of Kansas Lawrence and Edwards campuses this year, representing a wide variety of scholarly expertise and contributions.

“I’m excited to start the new academic year with these individuals and welcome them to our Jayhawk family,” said J. Christopher Brown, vice provost for faculty development. “Our goal is that they feel at home at KU and that they will experience soon the rewards of transforming the lives of our students and moving discovery into new realms. We hope this is the first of many years of developing the profound relationships that will allow them and their students to flourish.”
