Solar energy company seeks job applicants

LAWRENCE — Oakland-based Sungevity Inc. is coming to Kansas City and is looking for qualified candidates interested in green careers to fill positions at the company’s new sales and service center, slated to open January 2015. Sungevity has partnered with The University of Kansas (KU) Career Services Alliance and selected Kansas City as its location partially based on the strong local candidate pool.

Sungevity is actively recruiting KU students and alumni to fill these positions. On-campus interviews will take place at the University Career Center from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3. Alumni who would like to interview should call 785-864-7672. Current students can view job postings and sign up for interviews in KU Career Connections. Site registration is required.

Current students graduating in December and alumni possessing four-year degrees who are interested in learning more about employment opportunities with Sungevity in Kansas City can find more information about positions and the company online.
