KU Staff Fellows to conduct faculty, staff focus groups exploring mental health at KU
LAWRENCE — The 2020 KU Staff Fellows are conducting a series of focus groups in conjunction with their yearlong project to identify and examine current campus perceptions, challenges and opportunities regarding employee mental health.
University of Kansas staff and faculty members are invited to participate in small-group discussions designed to seek perspectives around the subject of mental health — exploring such topics as campus attitudes; awareness of resources; barriers to accessing support; and suggestions for increasing understanding, compassion and a sense of belonging. Data will be collected confidentially, analyzed and shared in summary.
Employees are asked to register online for their preferred 75-minute session.
