Campus flyover scheduled for Friday morning
LAWRENCE — Two T-38 military jets will fly over the University of Kansas campus Friday morning in preparation for a Saturday flyover at the Jayhawks’ home football game.
The jets will likely reach campus around 9:20 a.m. and might do a second pass over campus around 10 a.m., depending on weather and other factors.
On Saturday, the Jayhawks will host Iowa State for the Salute to Service game at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is 11 a.m., with the flyover scheduled to occur 5-10 minutes before that. FSN will carry the television broadcast.
