University announces fall candidates for degree

LAWRENCE — The names of 1,355 candidates for degree from the University of Kansas this fall — representing 58 Kansas counties; 40 other states and Washington, D.C.; and 58 other countries — have been announced by the University Registrar. Degrees are officially conferred in January.

Some candidates will choose to participate in KU’s annual Commencement ceremony, which will take place Sunday, May 17, 2020. That information is available at

Not all candidates for degree have made their name and hometown information publicly available, and not all candidates for degree applied for graduation before the KU News publication deadline. Those students can email if they would like their information included. Names of summer 2019 graduates were published in October.
