Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center to celebrate completion of Phase I of the Campus Master Plan with ribbon-cutting ceremony
YODER — The Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center, based at the University of Kansas, invites the media to celebrate the completion of Phase I of its Campus Master Plan with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the campus near Yoder. The project supports KLETC’s mission of providing comprehensive and progressive training for Kansas law enforcement officers.
Phase I includes two buildings — a Professional Development/Administration building connected by a canopy to a second building housing suites for students attending multiday training.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Oct. 2 at 11009 South Hornet Road, Hutchinson. The facilities were delivered by the design-build team of McCownGordon Construction, Wichita, and Hoefer Welker, Kansas City, Missouri, in partnership with KU/KLETC. The new campus facilities provide modern spaces that enhance training opportunities while supporting the evolving needs of law enforcement professionals across Kansas.
Media are invited to attend this groundbreaking ceremony. RSVP to Barbara Harrison, bdharrison@kletc.org.
