LAWRENCE — Gertrude Sellards Pearson and Corbin residence halls at the University of Kansas will be host to child-friendly activities, crafts and games for Halloween in the Halls. The event will take place 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30 in the GSP and Corbin residence hall lobbies, 11th and Indiana streets. Candy and small trinkets will be passed out, and costumes are encouraged. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The event will be held in conjunction with Trunk or Treat, which will take place at the Adams Alumni Center parking lot, 1266 Oread Ave., sponsored by the University of Kansas Student Involvement & Leadership Center, Student Alumni Network and Center for Community Outreach. A shuttle bus will run between parking lots at the two locations.

The Association of University Residence Halls, with participation from the All Scholarship Hall Council, National Residence Hall Honorary and the Apartment Living Association, sponsor Halloween in the Halls.

KU Student Housing is home to about 5,000 students across the KU campus with options that include nine residence halls, 12 scholarship halls and three apartment complexes.
