Rec center hosting Leave Your Mark mural contest

LAWRENCE — Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center is now accepting submissions for Leave Your Mark, a mural design contest.

Designs must incorporate a Jayhawk and this quote: “Remember your nest; return to it often. And never forget this unique bird that has set you free!” by David A. Ambler. The winning design will be painted on a 34-foot-wide and 8-foot-tall cinderblock wall in the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center building. The submissions must include an explanation and contact information. All applications materials must be delivered to the ASRFC office, Room 103, no later than noon June 12. This contest is open to all KU students. 

All artwork will be subjected to the approval of the selection committee. Participants are encouraged to visit the Leave Your Mark tab on the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center Facebook page for more information and guidelines.
