Kansas Crew announces 2016 Rent-A-Rower program

LAWRENCE Kansas Crew, one of 28 club sports at the University of Kansas, is announcing its annual Rent-A-Rower fundraising program.

For $15 per hour, members of KU Crew will come to your house and do chores, big or small  anything from washing windows, painting, raking leaves, sweeping or moving furniture.

To reserve a rower or rowers, contact KU Crew at kansascrew@gmail.com or (913) 396-1769 and let them know many rowers you will need, how many hours you will need help, the job and potential work dates.

KU Crew is part of KU’s Sport Club program, which is designed to serve the sporting interests of KU students, faculty and staff. Some of the sport clubs compete on regional and sometimes national levels in a wide variety of sports. Other clubs tend to focus more on self-improvement or are just for fun. Each club is guided by KU Recreation Services, but student development is emphasized as each club is student-led, student-ran and student-driven. All sport clubs collect dues from members to offset expenses and raise funds for equipment and/or regional and national travel.
