LAWRENCE — Join the Student Involvement & Leadership Center in celebrating National Nontraditional Students Week, which will be Nov. 5-11.

At KU, nontraditional students are those who commute 10 or more miles to the Lawrence campus, have dependents, identify as a veteran or are three years older than the majority of their classmates. Nontraditional students make up roughtly one-quarter of KU's undergraduate population.

If you work with nontraditional students, let them know about the events next week that are just for them:

The Student Involvement & Leadership Center will be in Lot 301 (Park & Ride) from 7:30-9 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts to show some appreciation to our commuter students.
