Employer registration up 25 percent at University Career Fair

More Information

LAWRENCE — The University Career Fair will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, on Level 5 of the Kansas Union. Attendees should expect to see a higher number of internship and career opportunities this year as employer registrations are up 25 percent from last year’s career fair.

Organized and presented by the University Career Center and the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the career fair allows KU students to meet with more than 100 potential employers to learn about full-time jobs and internships.

A complete list of attending employers can be found online.

“The University Career Fair is your best opportunity to meet with the most employers in one place at one time,” said David Gaston, director of the University Career Center.
“Students can take the time to build their professional network with people here to recruit KU students.”

A variety of industries will be represented at this year’s career fair, including federal government, nonprofit, private sector and graduate school programs. Students from all majors and academic levels are encouraged to attend.

A few booth spaces are still available, and interested employers may register here.
