Media advisory: Students move back to KU housing Thursday

LAWRENCE — Move-in day for residence halls and scholarship halls at the University of Kansas is set for Thursday, Aug. 21.

Media are welcome to attend the event, but news vehicles will not be allowed on Daisy Hill (Irving Hill and Engel Roads) due to traffic congestion and the construction project for the two new residence halls.

For announcements related to severe weather during move-in day, tune to Kansas Public Radio at 91.5 FM.

All incoming Student Housing residents were sent a map of recommended travel routes and instructions about arriving at their community:

Daisy Hill Residence Halls (Templin, Lewis, Hashinger, Ellsworth and McCollum): See move-in instructions here.
