Audio-Reader Network set to host next Audio Sale
LAWRENCE — The Audio-Reader Network, based at the University of Kansas, will host its next highly anticipated Audio Sale this month in the Lawrence Public Library auditorium, offering music lovers and audio enthusiasts a wide selection of items at bargain prices.
The sale kicks off with an exclusive ticketed event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 13. Tickets are $10, giving attendees first access to the inventory. The sale continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 14 with free admission.
Shoppers can browse more than 100 pieces of vintage and modern audio equipment along with hundreds of vinyl records and dozens of cassette tapes. All items are priced to sell, making the event a must-stop for collectors and casual music fans alike.
Audio-Reader is again partnering with the Lawrence Public Library Friends & Foundation, which will offer CDs and DVDs for sale during the event.
Proceeds from the Audio Sale support Audio-Reader’s mission to provide access to print information for people who are blind, visually impaired or otherwise print-disabled.
