The associate vice provost position was announced this summer when KU realigned the Institute for International and Global Engagement and KU’s five Area Studies Centers under KU International Affairs. The faculty administrative position will be housed in KU International Affairs and will lead international and global engagement efforts by overseeing the university’s five area studies centers.
Greene’s presentation will examine how to build bridges between KU’s research and partnership activity around the world and the regional expertise of KU faculty and the area studies centers.
The presentation will take 30 to 40 minutes with a 20- to 30-minute question-and-answer session to follow. Members of the KU community are encouraged to attend the online public presentation and provide feedback to the search committee.
