KU Engineering will host 69th Annual Asphalt Paving Conference


LAWRENCE — On Dec. 4, the University of Kansas Department of Civil, Environmental & Architectural Engineering within the School of Engineering will host experts in the field of asphalt paving engineering for a one-day conference exploring the latest developments in the field.

“We’re looking forward to hosting industry leaders and government partners in this learning and networking event,” said Robert Parsons, professor and conference chair.

Many topics will be covered throughout the day, including updates from the Kansas Department of Transportation by Calvin Reed and other Asphalt Paving Alliance (APA) updates by Mike Skinner.

 The 69th Annual Asphalt Paving Conference will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Kansas Union. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., with opening remarks beginning at 8:30 a.m.
