KU School of Pharmacy summer camp registration now open
LAWRENCE — Registration is now open for the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy’s 2026 pharmacy summer camps, offering 11th and 12th grade students and incoming college freshmen an inside look at careers in pharmacy.
The annual camp, now in its 29th year running, provides hands-on activities, exposure to clinical pharmacy and opportunities to engage with current KU pharmacy students and faculty. The camp is designed to help prospective students explore the profession and understand pathways toward a PharmD degree.
KU will offer both one‑day and overnight camps this summer on its Lawrence and Wichita campuses.
One-day camps are scheduled for June 8 and June 10 in Lawrence and July 14 and July 16 in Wichita.
Two-day, two‑night camps are set for June 16-18 and June 21-23 in Lawrence.

The program’s organizers highlight that the camp gives students firsthand insight into patient care, medication safety and the broad range of pharmacy career options. Testimonials from former participants describe the program as pivotal in helping them choose a career path in pharmacy.
KU Pharmacy Summer Camp sessions fill quickly, and organizers encourage early registration. Additional details, including FAQs, required forms and residence hall information, are available on the camp website.
