Lawrence, Edwards employees can now receive emergency alerts from KU Medical Center
University of Kansas employees on the Lawrence and Edwards campuses can now register to receive emergency text notifications from KU Medical Center.
To receive notifications from KU Medical Center, employees should text "KUMC" to 226787, then look for a confirmation welcome message.
The university has added this functionality as part of the One KU initiative, which is resulting in more employees spending time on multiple KU campuses.
