Media advisory: Dole and Kennedy institute leaders, elections expert can share insights from conference on bolstering elections infrastructure

LAWRENCE – Members of the media are invited to interview leadership from the Dole Institute of Politics and Edward M. Kennedy Institute, elections expert Tammy Patrick and members of the institutes’ recently launched initiative on key takeaways from their Feb. 15-16 symposium on bolstering investment in American electoral administration and processes.

Policy experts and practitioners will outline why the study of funding the U.S. election systems is so difficult as compared to other government services and highlight models of success at the local level ahead of upcoming primaries and the general election.

Audrey Coleman, director of the Dole Institute; Adam Hinds, CEO of the Kennedy Institute, and Patrick — along with previously announced working group members — will be available in person at the Dole Institute and virtually via Zoom from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. Feb. 16. Media should register on Zoom to attend in person or online.
