Week of activities for KU Homecoming begins Oct. 27
LAWRENCE — The University of Kansas will host its 113th Homecoming, sponsored by Central Bank, Oct. 27-Nov. 2. The week culminates with the KU football game against Oklahoma State on Nov. 1 at the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. KU’s Homecoming experience aims to celebrate the university’s history and tradition and instill Jayhawk pride in all members of the KU community, near and far, through the engagement of students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.

Event highlights
Oct. 27
5V5 Flag Football Tournament at the Booth. Watch student organizations compete under the stadium lights in a flag football tournament.
Movie Night at the BOOth. Come watch the original “Ghostbusters” on the big screen at the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
Oct. 28
Simply Hygiene Volunteering. Join Wichita alumni in volunteering at the Simply Hygiene facility to package and sort hygiene products for the local community.
KU Basketball vs. Fort Hays State. Come cheer on KU men’s basketball at Allen Fieldhouse in their second exhibition game.
Oct. 29
CCO’s Trunk or Treat. Bring friends and family for the Center for Community Outreach’s annual Trunk or Treat. With over 70 trunks, live music and costume contests, plenty of activities await.
Oct. 30
Harvesters Food Network Volunteering. Join fellow Jayhawks in Lawrence or Kansas City for an evening of volunteering at the local Harvesters facilities.
KU Soccer vs. Colorado. Come cheer on KU women’s soccer as they take on Colorado at Rock Chalk Park.
Late Night at the Lanes. Strike up some fun at Royal Crest Lanes for a night of glow-in-the-dark bowling with a live DJ, giveaways and more.
Nov. 1
KU Football vs. Oklahoma State. Come cheer on KU football as they take on Oklahoma State in the 113th Homecoming game at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
Homecoming Award finalists
At the Nov. 1 football game, KU will announce the winners of the 2025 Homecoming Awards. The Homecoming Awards Committee included representatives from KU Alumni, KU Memorial Unions, the Center for Service Learning, Center for Orientation & Transition Programs, Office of Sorority & Fraternity Life, KU Bookstore and the Homecoming Steering Committee. Finalists for this year’s ExCEL Award, presented by Konica Minolta, Jennifer Alderdice Award and HOPE Award are as follows:

- Taylor Durst, senior in psychology and sport management from Hills, Minnesota.
- Hannah Kaiser, junior in behavioral neuroscience from Leipzig, Germany.
